Takom 1/350 German Flack Tower IV Heiligen Geistfeld Flak Tower (Tower G)

The Flak Tower (anti-aircraft gun tower) was a reinforced concrete high-rise air defense facility built by the German Air Force during World War II as an urban air defense facility to defend strategically important cities from Allied air raids. The Flak Tower consisted of a G tower with anti-aircraft guns and a command tower called the L tower equipped with radar and anti-aircraft command equipment. After the war, various equipment such as armaments were removed, and the anti-aircraft turrets themselves were dismantled, but many of them still exist and have been converted to various uses.
