Magic Factory 1/35 M7A3 BFIST Fire Support Vehicle Plastic Model Kit

The M7 BFIST (Bradley Fire Support Team)  is the replacement of armored FiST vehicle (FiST-V) platform, the M981 FISTV in the U.S. Army.The most different from M2/3 is the two TOW anti-tank guided missile launchers mounted on standard Bradley IFV are replaced by target acquisition optics mounted to the left side of the turret.M3A3 BFIST is based on M3A3 Bradley which the inertial navigation unit is moved to the inside of the turret.

Standard equipment for the BFIST (Bradley Fire Support Team) includes fire detection and suppression system, NBC system and day/night vision equipment for commander, gunner and driver. which almost same as the current Bradley vehicles as part of the ODS (Operation Desert Storm) improvement package. The major subsystems of the BFIST include an Inertial Navigation System (INS), an eye safe laser range finder (ELRF), four Single Channel Ground and Airborne Receiver System (SINCGARS) radios, a precision lightweight Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver (PLGR), a Battlefield Combat Identification System (BCIS), a mission processor unit (MPU), a handheld terminal unit (HTU), a lightweight computer unit (LCU), Modular Active Protection System (MAPS) and two tactical communication interface modules (TCIM).

The M3A3 BFIST  can detect and call for precision fire strikes on targets within 20 kilometers through its advanced observation equipment and laser ranger finder. The coordination of various in-vehicle equipment can directly mark the target location on the digital map without the need for personnel to get off the vehicle to operate. The M3A3 has been proved that greater than M7 from the combat.
