It improves crew survivability with the addition of the Israeli-made IFLD (Iron Fist Light Decoupled) active protection system on the front, sides, and turret. Featuring the M-SHORAD (Mobile-Short Range Air Defense) system, it effectively addresses threats from various aircraft, including drones (UAVs).
