This model kit from Fujimi allows you to build a 1/350-scale replica of the bridge of the Yamashiro, the tallest Japanese battleship! The Yamashiro was built as the second ship of Japan's first dreadnought battleship, the Fuso, which died in battle. Yamashiro's bridge had characteristics such as a round conning tower and struts with increased leg openings compared to the Fuso, and had a characteristic shape with a rangefinder support structure similar to the battleship Haruna. This kit uses the mold of the existing 1/350-scale battleship Yamashiro kit; it includes the No. 21 electric probe from the first half of 1944. The main parts of the bridge are molded in a gray color that mimics the color of the Yokosuka Naval Arsenal. Clear molded parts are available for the bridge windows and searchlights; a base for display and a ship name sticker are included. From the top deck to the top rangefinder, the front is reproduced in the range including the second turret connected to the shelter deck. Similar to the actual structure, the truss/tripod structure and each deck are stacked and assembled. The shelter deck expresses a wooden deck with delicate carvings. The Type 89 12.7cmn twin high-angle guns on the shelter deck consist of six parts. The 25mm twin machine guns on the front and back of the bridge are made up of three parts, and the elevation angle can be adjusted. The Rashin bridge, lower lookout, battle bridge, survey station, main gun command post, and five windows are reproduced with clear parts. The Rashinkan bridge and other floor surfaces are carved in a strip pattern. The 4.5m rangefinder can be fixed at any angle. The wing part of the battle bridge reproduces the light hole structure with sculpting. Binocular telescope parts that increase the sense of detail, such as survey stations and battle bridges, are available. The truss structure for the rangefinder on the back of the bridge is made with a sense of detail, with the light holes reproduced with engraving
