The Sperm Whale is the largest of the toothed whales and can be found in oceans worldwide. Sperm Whales are apex predators and primarily feed on squid, which they hunt at great depths.

They are also known for their ability to hold their breath for extended periods of time, diving as deep as 7,000 feet in search of prey. While they were once hunted extensively for their oil and meat, Sperm Whale populations have rebounded in recent years and are now considered a vulnerable species.
