Beemax 1/24 Toyota Carina ST191 BTCC 1993 Omega Plastic Model Kit

The popular UK racing series known as the British Touring Car Championship boasts a long history and tradition of touring car racing. Automakers from around the world participate in teams with vehicles for promotion purposes. Many Japanese manufacturers are among them, including Toyota, and they have been developing and participating in the Carina E races since 1993. The Carina E was a four-door sedan sold in Japan, an FF 2WD with an in-line four-cylinder two-liter engine placed horizontally in the front; it was known as the Corona in Europe. In the 1993 season, Will Hoy and Julian Bailey drove the Carina E for Team Securicor Toyota, a Works team run by Tom's GB. Bailey won the 1993 BTCC race on the 11th round of the Knockhill Circuit.
This model kit is realistically reproduced, from the stylish outside to the interior. The four-door sedan's body, almost the same as the commercial version, reproduces its style in every detail. The low-posture suspension shows an aggressive posture; the cockpit is reproduced in great detail, including the roll bar and various equipment. Decals are included for the car that won at Knockhill in the 11th round in 1993, as well as the team's Will Poi markings; new parts are included for the side mirrors, wheels, rear wings, dashboard and more.
